Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to investigate the role of logistics in the pharmaceutical industry. Analyzes the pharmaceutical sector in the years 2003-2011. Defined logistical activities performed by operators and discusses the specifics of storage of pharmaceuticals. Discussed the transport of drugs in the cold supply chain in accordance with the guidelines of Good Distribution Practice.
