Summary/Abstract: Aiming at inclusive education is a hallmark of contemporary educational systems. European solutions in this area are not uniform, though individual states make attempts to imitate the best, well-tested solutions. Moreover, the needs and expectations of disabled people and the environment in which they live are changing. Hence, the quest for the best solutions becomes a characteristic feature of any inclusive education. What should also be taken into account are the barriers faced by people with disabilities and their parents, guardians orteachers.
