Summary/Abstract: The article deals with historical examples of coauthoring in the context of the development of the press, where collaborative writing became a sort of necessity for authors of popular fiction by the end of 19th century. Coauthoring has not yet been fully integrated into Hungarian literary historiography in spite of earlier attempts to reconsider authorship. The article presents examples of collaborative writing in the works of Kornél Tábori and Louis Lucien Rogger (presumably a pseudonym ofc oauthors Lajos Aczél and László Aigner).
