Summary/Abstract: The review examines the edition of collected articles "Koht ja Paik = Place and Location: Studies in Environmental Aesthetics and Semiotics. VI" ed. by Eva Naripea, Virve Sarapik and Jaak Tomberg (Tallinn, 2008). Based on reports delivered at the conference held in 2004, the book includes contributions by researhers from Estonia, Finland, UK, Germany, Poland, etc., also four from Latvia. The subjects range from philosophy, architecture and environmental art to zoomusicology and models of time in museum expositions.
