Conditions of the development of the real estate market in the city of Opole

Summary/Abstract: The development of the real estate market is conditioned by, among others, some demographic, economic and housing factors. These factors have a signifi cant impact on the existing demand for properties and can be quantifi ed in terms of both the local and regional aspect. There is also a number of factors that affect the demand for the whole country, regardless of local differences. They are the various reasons and mechanisms ofadministrative, political, legal and economic nature as well as the conditions of activity of the operator on the supply side, such as, for example, developers. The aim of this paper is to analyze and assess the situation in the real estate market in the city of Opole in terms of demographic, economic and housing determinants.
