The works of Cioran, both in Romanian and French, describe the solitudie of a self. A specialist in solipsism, Cioran lives with all kinds of solitudes (individual, cosmic and linguistic). His solitude is expressed by two emotions : the “dor” (in his Romanian works) and bitterness (in his French works).
