Summary/Abstract: Article discusses a very weighty issue, namely relations between Jadwiga of Anjou and her husband, Wladyslaw Jagiello. More interestingly, these relations are presented on the basis of the chronicler, who have the opportunity to meet the monarch several times when he was young and was educated in New Korczyn. Annals of Jan Dlugosz text are very difficult in the interpretation, because they contain very heavy load moralistic and was provided by the author in a lot of subjective judgments. Thus seems to be highly desirable for providing text Dlugosz critical apparatus and discuss the value of his briefing, which are often the only source about the interesting people or events.
