Summary/Abstract: The article presents an escalating problem of contemporary transformation of body through tattoos and body piercing. It is a presentation of the results of research carried out among people using appropriate methods for body transformation. Research problems revolve around the themes of body transformation, the impact of the social environment and the importance of decorating the body in social and professional life.
