Summary/Abstract: The article presents formatting and activity of the first partisan squad in Poland during The Second World War. It was commanded by Major Henryk Dobrzanski alias “Hubal” to the end of 1939. In the first part of his article, the author covers history of The 110th Reserve Cavalry Regiment, starting from their participation in September Campaign. That regiment was later transformed into The Selected Squad of The Polish Army commanded by Major “Hubal”. The article also describes the trail of this troop and all the battles fought by them with German Army. The author presents moreover, concept of underground organisation created by Major Henryk Dobrzanski and called Combat District of Kielce. There is also description of relations between commander of The Selected Squad of The Polish Army and representatives of The Polish Victory Service and account from the meeting with General Michał Karaszewicz – Tokarzewski. Besides, the article shows positive attitude of local population towards Major Dobrzanski’s soldiers.
