Summary/Abstract: The article examines the revival of the pilgrimage tradition in modern Estonia. It discussed the examples of Catholic, Orthodox, Lutheran and global pilgrimage traditions as well as the so called new religious movements. The article attempts to examine not only the routes and the participants in the pilgrimage, but also its place, importance and peculiarities in the secularized Estonian society. It also tracks the historical roots and current trends in the development of modern religiosity.
