Summary/Abstract: Serbskіja novini was issued in Vienna in 1791 and was intended for the Serbian readers in the Habsburg monarchy. The newspaper provided valuable information about the political life in the empire and in Europe and also reflected the events in Poland, which the Constitution of May 3, 1791 finally turned into revolutionary. The article examines the published reports from Poland. Most of them referred to the activity of the Polish Diet (deliberative assembly), to the adopted Constitution and the reaction of the Poles and the neighboring monarchies to changes in Warsaw. Albeit incomplete and not always accurately, Serbskіja novini introduced its readers in the events reflecting the zeitgeist
