Summary/Abstract: The paper, through the ontology of immediate presence, attempts to reflect on the traces of God in the world. The trace of God itself is not yet given due to the direct insight of the thing but is contemplated when the idea of the trace of God appears due to direct experience. In reiterating R. Otto, the article states that human must a priori have an element of beauty “installed” into inwardness in order to recognise the beauty of nature. Existence is not human but divine predicate: the Creator attributes the existence to things and so they exist. The paper distinguishes between moral and religious matters, and maintains that the religious relationship with the world opens up the fundamental insecurity. It introduces the idea of teogonic locality: in this locality the primordial experience of God is born, which is then shielded with the face of God. For Lithuanian Christianity both humans and creatures of nature are children of God.
