Formal and legal aspects of Polish international cooperation with Slavic countries in the field of culture

Summary/Abstract: Range of cooperation between the countries in the field of culture define bilateral international agreements. They contain a legal framework for cooperation objective. The article presents selected provisions relating to the institutional dimension of inter-state cooperation in the field of culture, in practical terms mainly in the field of cultural diplomacy, realized by modern diplomacy in its cultural function. One of the important instruments for the presentation of the intellectual, cultural and historical issue are Polish Institutes. An important aspect is also the co-operation at the level of NGOs (the practical aspect has not been presented in the pages of this article), or at the level of cities, districts and voivodeships.
