The level of financial literacy among population of rural regions threatened by poverty

Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the paper is to present own results of research concerning the level of financial literacy of rural pupulation in the Podkapackie Voivodeship. The author’s study contributes to a dynamically developing, interdisciplinary field of research devoted to personal finance, i.e. a new home economics, especially a subfield of financial decisions under poverty. The structure of the article supports the formulated goal. The research method was applied to answer the research question.
