The Methods for Problem Solving in the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic

Summary/Abstract: In the paper the selected findings of the survey “Decision problems solving in the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic” are presented. The theoretical basis of the solved area is summarized – decision problems types, decision making process steps, purpose of the methods application and used methods of problems solving. Afterwards the methodology of the realized questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews and the results revealed are described. In the end, the recommendations for the application of the methods of problems solving in the department of the defence of CR are defined by the authors.
