Compensation – the balance of a debt

Summary/Abstract: Compensation is and remains a basic legal institution in matter of obligations through the respect of legal relations signed in a community. At the same time, it is an application of the principle of subjective civil rights protection by providing a viable alternative to the creditor, if the price is not paid by the debtor, thereby avoiding a deadlock economic background of the cash flow which is low for most companies. Being an alternative to payment, regardless of socio-political system and the nature of the obligations offsetting compensation, through compensation a person’s patrimony is respected.
