Summary/Abstract: Once at the crossroads between East and West, the Macedonian capital of Skopje is a city suffering from schizophrenia. Revealing itself in the tensions between the majority of citizens living in the city beyond the ethnic divide forced upon them by politics, Skopje is a battle of the traditional vanguards against the new reactionaries.
