Summary/Abstract: The article presents Bohuslav Tablic as a poet whose occasional verse came to terms with the relicts of the Baroque, the lasciviousness of Rococo, Preromanticism and the impetuses of Enlightenment Neo-Classicism. The author disguises the occasional character of his poetry in order to produce the work of aesthetically valuable texts.
