Summary/Abstract: The study is an attempt of the answer to a question whether the Polish farming is giving chances of the intelligent specialisation Seeking this answer found it place in the first part of the study when an essence of the intelligent specialization and objective arguments are taken into consideration. Formulating the answer affirmatively, in the second part of the study, there was offered a possibility of using the concept of the intelligent specialisation in the Polish practice of the village and farming development, relating the theory to the practice of typically agricultural areas.
