Summary/Abstract: Having in mind that the term crowdsourcing is not well explored in Serbian scientific journals and that it is rarely mentioned, readers who haven’t been acquainted with it, its development and usage, might inform themselves through this paper and possibly become interested in further research concerning the topic. Although the majority of population is acquainted with the methods used in crowdsourcing, the term itself often sounds unfamiliar. Hence, the aim of studying the term crowdsourcing and its practical usage is based on an attempt to define and understand its importance in modern business.
