Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the opinion of specialists from Public Policy Units at central level regarding the model for improving the public policy-making process. The first and the second part of the paper contains the introduction as well as the objectives and research methodology. The third part presents the descriptive model regarding the public policy making process focusing on its characteristics. In the fourth part the validity of the model is tested by distributing a questionnaire to the policy makers at central level in order to find out if their reaction regarding the proposals made is positive.
