Summary/Abstract: This paper summarizes the results of a study оn three countries form Central and Eastern Europe which differ in the human capital’s structure specifically the educational level of the labor force: Bulgaria, Estonia and the Czech Republic. The econometric output does not fully support the hypothesis that human capital stimulates economic activity since the results per country differ in both the sign and the magnitude of the estimated effect.
