Summary/Abstract: Human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of Romanian women to Europe continue to be a serious problem, despite Romania’s accession to the European Union in 2007. Many non-governmental organisations in Romania are working to address this problem, but despite their dedication and hard work, the availability of funding is still too low.
