Summary/Abstract: Following the escape of Viktor Yanukovych to Russia, many of Ukraine’s oligarchs followed. But some of the clans who benefited under the Yanukovych presidency are now building new strategies and alliances which will ultimately benefit their interests and undermine the success of the Maidan protests.
