Summary/Abstract: Violence against children has different forms and calls for various measures to eliminate it. However, this will be possible, when will determine not only the symptoms, but also the source of violence. These sources should be seen not only in the material conditions of the family, but also in the contemporary culture, that by creating the space for violence, it rather becomes an anticulture. The child becomes the victim of a „culture” based only on the material values, moral relativism and religious skepticism. Violence is also born of lies, manipulation, selfishness, consumerism, utilitarianism, extreme liberalism.
