Summary/Abstract: Romanian literature for children and youth written in Vojvodina, Republic of Serbia, is an integral part of literature created in the region after the Second World War. Until 1970, no original work for children had been published, all the achievements of this kind could only be found in the magazines “Bucuria pionierilor”(Vršac, 1946), which in 1956 became “Bucuria copiilor”. Books for children and about children that enter into specific relationships with the art, games, illustrations, culture and the traditions of the Romanians living in the region produce a full image of a valuable chapter of our literature, contributing to the completion of the self-image of the Romanian minority. This paper reveals the specificities of Mihai Condali’s poetry, one of the writers who immersed himself in the world of childhood.
