Summary/Abstract: The annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation has been difficult for a majority of the Crimean Tatars. Many have lost their jobs, fled or just disappeared. Those that remain, now fear that their homeland, which they fought so hard toget back in Soviet times, has once again been taken away.
