Summary/Abstract: As one may notice, Christian preacher, from the perspective of John Chrysostom, is a means for a priest to religiously educate a Christian, bring him down the path of the Church and closer to Christ. That is why he had shown, by holding numerous lectures during masses, that preachers held at any moment may create sensibility and open man’s soul to God. Preacher is not a „simple means of defense, but also the weapon of a large and holy offensive and preventive action.“
