Summary/Abstract: The war of United States against Iraq initiated in 2003 practised a powerful effect onto the international relations, between them onto Washington's allied relations. The European states formed a judgement on the situation differently. While France, Germany and Russia opposed the unilateral military action United Kingdom, Spain and smaller NATO member and candidate for membership states favoured it. The debate caused tenseness in the European states' contacts. The points of view differing in the row of USA's Middle East partners were born. This study takes the viewpoints that inspired the more important eurasian partner countries' different points of view into consideration.
