Summary/Abstract: The political and literary activity of Baron Miklós Wesselényi Jr. (1796–1850) since 1965, the publishing of Zsolt Trócsányi’s monograph is known in details among the historical science and the curious general public. Besides this there are some segments in his life, which claim the research work of the historical science – for example his childhood and adolescence, which basically defined and prepared his greatness as a politician and his role as the first leader of the Hungarian liberal reform-opposition. The present study pays attention to an important person of his early life, János Tőkés. I outline his relationship with his pupil and it’s parents analyzing his letters, which were written during his foreign study trip. I also try to interpret the brutal circumstances of his dismissal in the level of the hypothesis.
