Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to peripheral for Russian regional media discourse on Poland in Tomsk newspapers. The author presents some specific for Siberian community characteristics of the reception of the foreign culture, especially Polish. It was argued that two clear tendencies are shaping up the discourse on Poland in Tomsk media.
