Summary/Abstract: In the present era of modern historiography, questions are raised about the meaning and forms of the anti-Communist resistance, even about its very existence. Discussions are held as to the connection between the anti-Communist resistance (known as the third resistance) and the anti-Nazi resistance (the second) and the continuity between them in terms of ideology and personnel. In comparisons of the two eras it is not possible to fail to recognise certain kindred features. This also applies to the relatively complicated fate of Ignác Nay, who had his dealings with both the regimes in question.
