Regional cooperation between Warmia and Mazury voivodship and Kaliningrad district on the development of tourism

Summary/Abstract: Aim of this paper is to analyze the determinants of cooperation in the field of tour-ism between the Warmia and Mazury Voivodship and Kaliningrad District. The study contains the results of surveys carried out in 2012 among 100 respondents from the Warmia and Mazury and 100 inhabitants of Kaliningrad District. Based on the survey identified the areas predisposed to the development of regional cooperation between the Warmia and Mazury and Kaliningrad District, identified the determinants that affect the development of tourism in the Warmia and Mazury and Kaliningrad District. Also identified barriers to the development of tourism and the differences in the perception of the factors limiting the development of the Polish and Russian respondents
