SMEs inter-organizational cooperation as a consequence of globalization. Chosen aspects

Summary/Abstract: The processes of globalization that forms turbulent socio-economic environment affects the reduction of the business efficiency. This is especially true for small and me-dium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which, due to the gap of reserves, have fewer opportuni-ties for growth and expansion within its own resources. Therefore companies are facing the need to cooperate with other entities in the network or virtual teams. Theoretical findings were confronted with results of empirical investigating of binding and duration in collaborative networks, including its formal and informal char-acter.
