Summary/Abstract: In Polish economical space, programs of CSR are successfully suited for business strategies of international corporations and big enterprises. There is a difference in mi-cro, small and medium corporations, where appreciation of term and benefits arising from the conduct of business are definitely smaller. In article has been shown the results of the survey about knowledge about CSR. The survey has been done among employers and managers of micro, small and medium enterprises of Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Purpose of the research was to make an estimate of level of knowledge about CSR, used implements of CSR with benefits for company and environment. Research allow monitoring progress of ethic in economic life but also seeing areas of neglectedness and métiers of programs directed to small companies which accounts for 90% of all companies in Poland. Researches made among group of 700 people compared to researches from previous years show upward trend of condition of perception and implementation of standards which is, however, still too low. Companies are focusing on term CSR mainly from the perspective of respecting rules and expected benefits (pressure on values). Fact of connecting community involvement and high costs, also financial seems to be barrier which is hard to overcome. It’s often emphasized by the examined people in difficult financial situation of Poland. Lack of concern of formal introduction of strategy of CSR to companies doesn’t mean, at the same time, community involvement in socially responsible to the local community, because it may results from core values and personal preferences of owners. Modern business in global economy searches for synergy between economical, social and environmental aspects of functioning, building comprehensive strategy based on assumptions of CSR. Educational and training activities in all possible dimensions of the CSR can significantly affect on creating corporate culture, it’s immediate environment and the increase of social capital what, in t he current economic crisis is a very important point.
