Integrated database for the maintenance process of vehicles

Summary/Abstract: Transportation companies have a large amount of operating data. This data is scattered over various IT systems and paper records. Unfortunately, not all the data is used in decision-making processes associated with the process of repair. This situation is also in the audited company. The direct observation revealed that only a few pieces of recorded information in IT systems are now being used in decision making processes. Therefore, the aim of this article is to present the proposal to create an integrated database on damage and repairs. The data recorded in the database comes from the process of operation and maintenance of the vehicles. The proposed solution is aimed at supporting decision-making processes and takes into account the available information resources in the audited company. The developed database constitutes a part of the operation and maintenance controlling system.
