Changes occurring on agricultural farms benefiting from EU funds on the example of Mokobody country

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the directions of the changes that have been made on selected farms benefiting from EU funds. For the analysis, a survey was conducted in 20 randomly selected individual farms located in different localities be-longing to the county of Mokobody, Mazowieckie voivodship. The study revealed that the owners of farms in the surveyed county, regardless of the age were open to making changes on their farms. As many as 90% of the grantees allocated the disbursed funds to increase the area of the farm, 65% of the farms increased the size of the livestock, and more than a half of the farms took advantage of the chance to improve animal welfare conditions, by the construction or renovation the livestock buildings. The funds indispensable to achieve the objectives of the farm were acquiring mostly from the RDP, Agrienvironment Schemes and Young Farmer Program
