Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of teachers and school cooperation with parents (teacher-school-parent cooperation) in the Warmia and Mazury regions between the years 1945-56. In view of a specific situation of Polish education in the region, the cooperation took different forms. The contact between teachers and parents was limited to initiating educational, caring and charity tasks. Parents could be actively involved in the interpretation and fulfilment of the school needs thanks to parents' auspices, and from 1949 thanks to parental and caring committees founded to realize the Stalinian concept of upbringing.
