Summary/Abstract: The fact that the devastation caused by the Second World War and its consequences in Europe was, to some extent, overcome by Poland’s Solidarity movement is in a way a true miracle. Solidarity has opened the gates for freedom and justice. A longstanding peace and stability in Ukraine and the Middle East should be built on such a base.
