Structural changes in the horticultural production in the three Polish in aero regions

Summary/Abstract: Summary: In the paper was analyzed the changes in horticultural production in the three Polish macroregions in 2002-2010 years. Research was carried out in the light of developments in agriculture and horticulture all over the country. The changes in the structure of the area, area of crops, the number of farms, and the average area of crops in the selected branches of horticulture was analyzed The results indicate that in 2002—2010 on the analyzed areas has increased the importance of horticulture. Mainly through increase in the importance of fruit production, including through an increase in the average area of crops. Despite the positive changes, in the regions horticultural production is still significantly fragmented.
