Summary/Abstract: In the article the experience of consulting activities in the educational systems of Ukraine, Great Britain, Germany, New Zealand, Poland, the USA, Sweden, France, Japan and other countries has been analyzed. Specialists who provide advice at schools are defined. The main qualification requirements regarding the specialists of the educational counseling have been provided; the functional duties of the school consultant within different parts of education have been defined. Duties of school social pedagogues/workers have been studied; the objectives of school counseling of social pedagogues/workers have been identified. Positions which are possible to take into account in determination of maintenance of consulting activities of social pedagogues in Ukraine are set.
