Summary/Abstract: The author of the study refers to some of the most important contributions of Plato regarding speculative logic and supports the statement that although Plato’s works do not contain a systematic approach on logic, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, Plato’s manner of dealing with philosophical issues is not suitable for the science of logic, nevertheless, the merits of the Greek philosopher regarding the history of logic are substantial, especially since Aristotle takes from Plato more concepts of his own logic.
