Summary/Abstract: Logos`doctrine as a line of force crosses the entire ancient Greek philosophy and metaphysics as much as early Christianity. The tense problem is related to the life doctrine of Logos. Thus, for Plato, the model (Logos) is also creative Demiurge regarding being, goodness, rationality, and in terms of life,Logos is a generic form and, as such, it is doubtful that Plato’s Logos is life itself. In terms of basic Christian doctrine, it is clear that Logos is life. The question is to what extent Christian Logos is comparable to the Platonic Logos.
