Summary/Abstract: The article addresses the problems connected with changes in contemporary societies. These changes are caused by the development of modern civilization. Changes and dilemmas can be seen especially in social relations and social functioning. Areas which may lead to major changes and threats are: preferred systems of values, family life, teacher-student relationships, interpersonal communication, field work and management. Education may play a significant large role here.
