Social assistance changes in West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Summary/Abstract: The article presents essential changes which have taken place in the social assistance system of West Pomeranian Voivodeship for the past 10 years. The tendency analysis includes the influence of changes in legislature and the regional specification. The key features of the social assistance system are critically reviewed with reference to the nationwide data, resulting in a simplified balance of the voivodeship’s social assistance situation, with regard to changes that have already been made and those which still need to be introduced.
