Determinants of the implementation of the Lean Service in the Polish universities

Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to present and analyse the organisational and cultural determinants of the implementation the Lean Management in Polish universities. The study was based on results of the review literature. On the base of literature research it can be assumed that traditional values and principles of universities are not in deep contradiction with fundamentals of Lean Management. But implementation of this conception needs breaking and crossing many barriers in the technical and organisational sphere, also needs the deep changes in the organisational culture of university.
