The importance of internal sources of financing regard to capital structure decisions in agricultural enterprises

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between the level of internal financing and capital structure. In addition, research has identified the relationship between the level of internal funding in regard to the investments expenditures, debt levels and its structure and operating profitability and return on equity. The study was conducted on group of agricultural enterprises in 2009–2012. Based on the survey confirmed that the decision concerning the capital structure were determined by the level of internal financing. The group of companies with the lowest and highest level of internal financing were significantly differed due to the structure of capital, operating margin and return on equity.
