ISKUSTVA NAKON DVIJE GODINE UVOĐENJA I PRAKTIČNE UPOTREBE WEB APLIKACIJE ARIS SA POSEBNIM OSVRTOM NA RAD SA STVARAOCIMA NA PODRUČJU JAVNE UPRAVE I SUDSTVA
EXPERIENCE AFTER TWO YEARS THE INTRODUCTION AND PRACTICAL USE OF WEB APPLICATIONS “ARIS” WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO WORK WITH CREATORS IN THE AREA OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION AND JUDICIARY

Summary/Abstract: Web use of ARIS – Archival regional information system was introduced for cataloguing at the creators and in the Regional archives of Koper as well since 2009. Work with it is introducing many novelties ina archival practice, because it demands new approaches and shapes of cooperation with creators.Governmental and local administration in last three decades creates large amount of documents and much wider specter of documentary materials which is increasingly more heaviliy manageable from point of view of classical approach to archival cataloguing.From this reason next to tehnical meatness of archival material and of its catalouging that is determined with the valid legislation, is so important question of appropriate and successful computer support to the process of selecting of archival material from documentary material. The web application ARIS offers, bearing in mind determined normative principles and international standards, completely support over execution of mentioned working processes on minimal costs to both: to creators of archival material and to archives.Systemically efficiency of our computer support confirms incremental number of users of ARIS for cataloguing, above all in field of governmental and local authority and judiciary, that are introducing the largest creators of archival material.
