Summary/Abstract: All archives face the two contradictory demands. On the one hand, the constant pressure to reduce number of employees and on the other hand increased interest in the study of archives and enormous amounts of material that must be downloaded from the producers. The only way to overcome this conflict is digitization. At the same time digitization do protection and allows more efficient access to archives. By digitizing archival material from the period of NATO's aggression Military Archives has proved all the advantages of this approach and showed that the digitizing is not only useful but also possible.
