Summary/Abstract: Radu Petrescu is a wellknown representative of The School of Tîrgoviște, who managed to highly and positively influence the Romanian literature of the 20th century last decades. The inner value of his masterpieces is designed by unique ways of combining beauties of the personal thought with objective points of view of outside understanding. It is hard to mention how much of a diary or a deep story someone may find in such works as The third dimension, Berenice’s Hair or The Reversed Field Glass. However, except for the declared novels, Matei Iliescu and What might be seen, every line is a print of the master’s personality and censorship. Lovely memories and nostalgic throwbacks keep on taking us to an undisputed universe, where all the involved living beings, characters and readers, become a huge family. Discover and read Radu Petrescu, then find the pleasure of meeting out a great scholar, sensitive writer, a sincere literary and social critic and, nevertheless, a beloved father or husband, an outstanding personality, so good to remember.
